Neo-Nazi leaflets sent to several town halls

The prefect of Finistère spoke of “hate leaflets” sent by Internet. In fact, we can rather speak of neo-Nazi propaganda. Last week, several mayors and municipalities in Finistère received an email containing a leaflet evoking a “message to our white compatriots”. In this document printed in black and white, the author or authors attack the Jews who “destroy the country” citing “immigration”, “pedo-LGBT degeneration” and “war”.

Recipient of the leaflet, the mayor of Morlaix Jean-Paul Vermot shared it on his social networks in order to share “his shame”. The elected official made a report to the gendarmerie. According to him, several other municipalities in the department would have received the same document.

An open judicial inquiry

In a brief statement, the prefect of Finistère “is deeply indignant that such ignominious media can be broadcast”. The State representative invited anyone who received these leaflets “to contact their gendarmerie brigade or the nearest police station”. A judicial inquiry has been opened.

A town hall in Seine-Maritime had already been the target of Nazi and anti-Semitic leaflets at the end of May.
