If this war doesn’t end with Ukraine’s surrender or the expulsion of the Russian invaders – then only with an armistice treaty, only with negotiations. It is difficult to imagine these conversations, because it cannot be the result of a grandiose injustice that is made into a minor injustice by a compromise.
