“We had to send another train from Paris, there are security procedures that take time, as well as the transhipment of passengers, who from the start were supplied with water,” said the spokesperson for the SNCF.
200% refund
In the end, the train arrived in Paris at 3:40 a.m., nearly eight hours late. On arrival at the station, those who did not have an accommodation solution were taken care of by the SNCF at the hotel.
