Near Poing: Caused an accident with 1.7 per mille – Ebersberg

With 1.7 per thousand alcohol in the blood, but without a driver’s license, a 19-year-old got behind the wheel on Sunday morning after a visit to the Oktoberfest. Shortly before the destination, at the Poinger local entrance, the journey ended with an accident, as reported by the Poing police.

The young woman had driven the car because her companion was apparently even more drunk and felt unable to drive. Coming from Parsdorf, the woman with the car got off the road to the right shortly before Poing “and ended the journey backwards, parked in the nearby undergrowth,” as the police write in their press report. The 19-year-old drove over the place-name sign and a delineator that were in the way. She is now awaiting an investigation into endangering road traffic as a result of drinking and driving and driving without a license.
