Near Anzing: long traffic jam after a rear-end collision on the A94 – Ebersberg

An accident in the morning rush hour led to a kilometer-long traffic jam on the A94 on Monday, according to the police. The collision occurred around 8.30 a.m. in the lane towards Munich. As reported by the police, a 54-year-old businessman from the Tirschenreuth district and a 67-year-old self-employed person from the Ebersberg district had to slow down in the left lane due to traffic. A 51-year-old property manager from the district of Altötting overlooked this, she was no longer able to brake her car in time and drove into both cars. In addition, her car collided with the central barrier.

The woman suffered minor injuries in the collision, but the other two involved in the accident were not injured. The estimated total damage was around 39,000 euros. Due to the fact that all vehicles involved were no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away, the lane towards Munich was completely closed for about an hour, which resulted in the long traffic jam. The fire brigades from Poing and Anzing took over the accident protection.
