Saturday, around 5 a.m., in a street near a nightclub in Nancy, when he had just argued with his partner, a young man aged 20 was fatally stabbed, announced the public prosecutor, François Capin-Dulhoste, confirming information from the regional daily The Republican East.
“A car with four occupants on board” stopped at the level of the young man, “one of the occupants of the car” got out to first strike him “with punches before grabbing a knife and to hit him with this weapon, ”detailed the prosecutor. “The three other passengers in the vehicle” then joined him and, “according to the first elements of the investigation”, could also have “stabbed the victim with knives”, explained the Nancy prosecutor.
Several arrests
The four men then got back into the vehicle, leaving the young man “unconscious and lying in his blood” after being “very seriously injured in the carotid artery”. Supported by the emergency services, he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday afternoon, according to François Capin-Dulhoste, who indicates, without specifying the number, that “several arrests” took place.
“The identity of all the respondents, their respective participation in the facts and a fortiori their motive have not been established at this stage of the investigations”, he further indicated.
