After the Game 2 smack against the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Lakers retaliated with a resounding win. Everything is open in the series between defending champion and record champion.

National team captain Dennis Schröder took the lead again with the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA playoffs against defending champions Golden State Warriors.

The record champions scored a clear 127:97 in the first home game of the semi-final series in the Western Conference on Saturday (local time) and now leads 2:1 after victories. Four wins are needed for a team to get into the final series in the west, the fourth game is again in Los Angeles on Monday (local time).

The Lakers benefited from the good performances of their stars in the crypto.com arena, while the Warriors didn’t do much after an eleven-point lead in the first half and Stephen Curry was by far the best pitcher with 23 points. With the Lakers, Anthony Davis recorded 25 points, LeBron James and D’Angelo Russell each had 21. Davis also had a good 13 rebounds. Schröder contributed 12 points.

A misunderstanding by Curry with Klay Thompson at 40-29 for the Warriors was the starting point for the Lakers’ comeback. With a 30-8 run in the last seven and a half minutes before half-time, the 17-time champions worked their way back into the game and went into the break eleven points ahead. After the change of sides, the hosts extended their lead to 26 points and were able to put James and Davis on the bench and rest them for several minutes.
