The Denver Nuggets lead by 15 points in the second game of the NBA Finals – and still lose to the Miami Heat. The series for the championship promises to be exciting.

The Miami Heat equalized in the NBA Finals, winning the thrilling second game of the series against the Denver Nuggets. In Colorado Miami got a 111:108 despite being 15 points behind.

Ahead of the upcoming two games in Florida, the momentum is on the side of the Heat, who started the playoffs of the best basketball league in the world as the number eight seeded team in the Eastern Conference and have since prevailed against all of the favored opponents. It was the Nuggets’ first home playoff loss this season and their first since March 30.

The 41 points and 11 rebounds from Nuggets star Nikola Jokic were not enough because the Heat temporarily made a lead of twelve points in the final quarter from eight points behind and could not be disturbed anymore. Gabe Vincent had 23 points for Miami, while Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo had 21 points each. “These are the finals. You have to win one away,” said Heat professional Adebayo. “We have to do it defensively. The most important thing for us is: we have to get stops.”

The third game of the final series is in Miami on Thursday night. A team needs four wins to win the championship.
