After the death of Alexei Navalny, his confidants now have to fear for their safety. At least that’s what the example of Leonid Volkov shows. He was the victim of a violent attack.
A close confidant of the Kremlin critic who died in Russian custody According to a spokeswoman, Alexei Navalny was violently attacked while in exile in Lithuania. “Leonid Volkov was just attacked in front of his house,” said Navalny spokeswoman Kira Jarmisch on Tuesday evening. Among other things, Volkov was attacked with tear gas and a hammer.
