The top of the German Football Association agrees. There is no doubt about national coach Hansi Flick. The first test is coming soon.

National coach Hansi Flick can be very sure of his job at the German Football Association.

“I’m so convinced that Hansi Flick will be able to do it,” said the new DFB sports director Rudi Völler in the ZDF “Sportstudio” with a view to the required mood swing around the national team. DFB President Bernd Neuendorf also stated: “He feels our trust.”

The DFB selection will face Peru in the first games after the ignominious World Cup elimination on March 25th in Mainz and three days later in Cologne Belgium. Until the home EM there are only test games on the schedule.

“We’ll try to get people excited again, Hansi Flick will do it, I’m firmly convinced of that,” said Völler. When asked whether Flick would be asked to talk to the team about weak performances, the former DFB team boss replied: “There will be no reason for that.”
