Further without Hummels – DFB training with music

With music, but still without Mats Hummels, Julian Nagelsmann continued his preparation for the national soccer team’s European Championship test matches.
The 34-year-old Dortmund defender was also missing from the DFB campus on Wednesday due to his back problems. Like the day before, national coach Nagelsmann had his 20 remaining field players do the warm-up exercises with rhythmic sounds. The four goalkeepers around Marc-André ter Stegen trained on a small adjacent pitch.
Goretzka back again
Leon Goretzka was there again. The Bayern professional completed an individual session on Tuesday because of his muscular problems. In use for the first time: The new European Championship ball, which had been presented shortly before in Berlin by goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, among others.
The national team is preparing until Thursday at the academy grounds in Frankfurt for the international matches on Saturday in Berlin against Turkey and three days later in Vienna against Austria. The DFB team travels to the capital on Friday.
