Nagelsmann consultant: decision in “six or seven days”

What is Julian Nagelsmann doing after the European Championships? The national coach is being courted by the DFB – and is also said to be the top candidate at FC Bayern Munich to succeed Thomas Tuchel.
The advisor of National coach Julian Nagelsmann has announced a decision on the future of the sought-after coach in the coming days.
Everyone is currently asking him whether Nagelsmann will go back to FC Bayern Munich or what plans he has, said Volker Struth, according to information from Sky, in a not yet published episode of “Playmaker – the European Championship podcast from 360Media with Sebastian Hellmann” and said : “That will be decided in the next few days. That will be decided soon. In the next five, six, seven days.”
The bosses of FC Bayern Munich did not want to comment after reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League. The separation from current coach Thomas Tuchel – Nagelsmann’s successor at the German soccer record champions – at the end of the season has already been decided.
“It would be total nonsense to say that we don’t talk to interested parties. Without me wanting to say who the interested parties are. All I can say is that it’s not just Bayern Munich,” said Struth, according to the information. “That’s normal. That’s my job and it would be a bit of an insult to the media if they said we’re not having conversations. Of course we’re having conversations now.”
Nagelsmann took over the national team last fall. His contract with the DFB ends with the European Championship in the summer. The German Football Association would like to work with the 36-year-old beyond the tournament.
