“No understanding” for those who refuse to vaccinate

Natalia Wörner would not make a film with unvaccinated colleagues. She also has “no understanding” for those who refuse to be vaccinated.
Natalia Wörner (54) plays an intensive care doctor in a new film during the Corona crisis. In an interview with “Bild am Sonntag”, the actress explains that she would not shoot with unvaccinated colleagues.
When filming, Wörner is currently not only doing a quick test every day and a PCR test every other day, like all employees. The actress also asked if colleagues and team members were vaccinated. “To be honest, if I had to make a film with someone who doesn’t want to be vaccinated, I wouldn’t do that,” says the actress. And further: “I don’t see why I should put myself and my loved ones at risk because someone decides to refuse the vaccination.”
Life is upside down
On November 15, ZDF will show the drama “The world stands still” from 8:15 pm. Wörner plays the intensive care physician Dr. Carolin Mellau, whose life is upside down because of the corona pandemic. Next to her, among others, Marcus Mittermeier (52), Klaus Pohl (69) and Lena Stolze (65) can be seen. The 54-year-old expects “that the film will provide quite a lot of discussion material because unfortunately there are still too many people who do not get vaccinated”, she tells the “BamS” on.
Although Wörner is against compulsory vaccination, she also “has no understanding for people who do not want to be vaccinated”. On the one hand these people demanded “their maximum freedom back”, on the other hand they showed “no willingness to do anything for it and to protect the community”. You expect that there will be further local lockdowns with the current development in Germany due to the corona pandemic.
Meanwhile, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the health authorities have again reported almost 33,500 infections within one day. Officially, more than five million infections have been recorded in Germany since the beginning of the pandemic.
