In terms of sales, the company improved from 49.36 billion US dollars to 51.12 billion US dollars – analyst estimates had previously amounted to 51.11 billion US dollars, so Microsoft was convincing in this key figure.
Microsoft shares are temporarily up 4.29 percent at $289.03 on the NASDAQ in after-hours US trading.
