These screws, thrown in a descent near the Pas-Enchantés roundabout, would have caused the fall of several cyclists on Tuesday, according to the same source. “These deliberately malicious and dangerous actions towards two-wheelers
are inadmissible, ”said Mayor Laurent Turquois in a press release. Acts that do not undermine the will of the town hall to grant more space to cyclists. “I confirm that the work to make this cycle path permanent will be carried out as soon as possible,” concludes the mayor. In the meantime, he does not rule out installing a camera on the site, and is asking for the help of the national police. Municipal police patrols are already regularly organized.
