In August it starts with Amira Pocher’s show on VOX: In “My Mom, Your Dad” children try to match their single parents.

How VOX reports that Amira Pocher (30) will be looking for new couples from August – with the help of their children. “My Mom, Your Dad” is the name of the eight-episode program that will be broadcast on VOX and RTL+ from Tuesday, August 15. Children of single parents nominate their mother or father for the show. In Crete, the 24 singles will then have the opportunity to get to know each other as part of the show.

What the parents don’t know: they are not left alone. According to a press release, the youngsters observe and comment on what is happening in the background and can influence how they get to know each other.

In addition, the children can do good things for their parents “undercover” – but to do this they have to compete against the other children in games. Only at the end do the parents find out about the secret mission and the influence exerted by their offspring.

VOX describes the core of the show with the words: “Dating from two perspectives: Gen Z vs. Boomer, Relatable vs. Cringe! What would the kids not have known and what can they learn from their parents?”
