The seats on the benches are occupied by local politicians in evening dresses and club board members in suits. Loud murmurs just fill the room, then everything becomes quiet and hundreds of eyes turn to the entrance gate of the ballroom in the Regensburg Kolpinghaus. In white and red costumes and feathered hats, Beatrice, who prefers to be called Bea, and Emilie are ready to open the evening.
