Simple Minds are coming to Germany for four concerts in 2024

In more than 40 years, Simple Minds have released 18 albums and sold more than 60 million records. Now fans can look forward to four concerts in this country.

The Scottish band Simple Minds (“Don’t You (Forget About Me)”) is coming to Germany for four concerts in 2024. In the spring, the musicians around the two remaining founding members, singer Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill, will play their opening concert on April 10th in the Barclays Arena in Hamburg, as the organizer announced.

They will then perform in Berlin (April 11th), Frankfurt (April 12th) and Munich (April 13th). Special guests will be Scottish rockers Del Amitri.

The band Simple Minds has released 18 albums in more than 40 years and has reportedly sold more than 60 million records. “Direction of the Heart” was most recently released at the end of 2022. The Scots mix new wave elements from their early years with a modern sound for the 2020s. Tickets for the concerts can be purchased from Wednesday in the pre-sale and on Friday in the regular advance sale.
