“Guys, that only happens to me”: Dieter Bohlen “kicked while playing tennis” and had to undergo surgery. “Right leg broken a year ago, now left leg broken,” he summed up on Instagram.
Entertainer Dieter Bohlen (68), in his own words, once again had a sports accident. The music producer from Tötensen in Lower Saxony posted two photos on Instagram: one shows him in bed with a surgical cap, the other in a T-shirt and shorts with a bandaged leg.
“Guys, this only happens to me,” he says in an audio published on Tuesday. “Right leg broken a year ago, left leg broken now.” He twisted his ankle playing tennis. “Meniscus broken, quick surgery and now five hours later I’m really fit again,” reports Bohlen.
In September, the singer-songwriter posted a video from the hospital saying he injured his ear while diving and needed surgery. At the beginning of 2021, according to his own statement, he injured his ankle, foot and toes while sledding. The 68-year-old has made headlines in recent years, especially as chief judge of the RTL casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” (DSDS). The current 19th season runs for the first time without him.
