The cult band Kraftwerk is only giving one concert in Germany this year: on September 14th in Dresden.

The baroque backdrop of Dresden Semperoper will be the venue for the legendary electro-pop band Kraftwerk’s only concert in Germany this year. The group is continuing its series of multi-media shows at historical locations, informed concert organizer FKP Scorpio. It has already been performed in front of Karlsruhe Palace and the Acropolis in Athens, and a concert is also planned at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna at the beginning of July.

The Kraftwerk project was created in 1970 in the context of the experimental art scene in Düsseldorf. The band wrote music history and set the tone for styles such as electro, synth pop, minimal and techno. Songs like “Computer Love”, “Man-Machine” and “Autobahn” are well-known. The concert in Dresden is planned for September 14th.
