Hologram show wants to revive Elvis Presley

Although he has been dead for almost 50 years, Elvis Presley will soon be back on stage – as a hologram. The “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” is not alone.
The musician wants a new show in London Reviving Elvis Presley (1935-1977). The singer will be back on stage in digital form, as the British news agency PA reported. Thousands of private photos and video recordings will be used for the hologram show. “Elvis Evolution” is scheduled to premiere in London in November 2024 – shows are also planned in Las Vegas, Tokyo and Berlin.
“Elvis has global superstar status,” Layered Reality boss Andrew McGuinness said, according to PA. People would no longer just want to sit and passively consume entertainment, but they would want to be part of it.
Abba, Kiss and Elvis in London
The Swedish pop band Abba is already on stage virtually in London – avatars of the musicians were created for the concert show “Abba Voyage”. The US rock group Kiss has also introduced avatars of themselves.
Now the rock ‘n’ roll musician Presley is to follow. Authentic Brands Group, which owns Elvis Presley Enterprises, promised fans a new way to experience Presley’s life’s work. The American had hits like “Jailhouse Rock”, “In The Ghetto” and “Love Me Tender”.
The director Sofia Coppola is currently dealing with Elvis and his ex-wife Priscilla and the difficult relationship between them in a new film.
