After more than 20 years, singer Beyoncé is back at the top of the charts – with her new album “Cowboy Carter”.

US superstar Beyoncé is back at the top of the German album charts after more than 20 years. Her album “Cowboy Carter” is her third number one record overall GfK Entertainment announced. She previously reached number one in the early 2000s with her former band Destiny’s Child and “Survivor” (2001) as well as her solo album “Dangerously in Love” (2003).

The Texan is also followed by newcomers to the charts: In second place is the record “Nur Liebe” by the singer Maite Kelly, ahead of “Elysium” by the German band Project Pitchfork. Also new in the charts is “Heaven :x: Hell” by the Canadian punk rock band Sum 41 at number four. Future & Metro Boomin remains in fifth place with the album “We Don’t Trust You”.

In the singles chats, the Brit Artemas takes the lead with the hit “I Like The Way You Kiss Me”, replacing the American Benson Boone with “Beautiful Things”. The Australian DJ Cyril jumps from the four to the three with his song “Stumblin’ In”, which is followed by the new edition of “Time that something turns” by $OHO BANI, Herbert Grönemeyer & Ericson. New to the top five is Beyoncé with her country hit “Texas Hold ‘Em”.
