Megastar Taylor Swift is currently causing a sensation in Australia with her acclaimed “The Eras Tour”. The head of government has also joined the Swifties.

Half of Australia is here because of the pop superstar’s gigantic “The Eras Tour”. Taylor Swift is totally out of her mind right now. Now Prime Minister Anthony Albanese (60) has also come out as a Swiftie. The politician told Australian media that he had bought a concert ticket for one of the four sold-out mega shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium. He admitted to FoxFM on Friday that he probably wouldn’t be the most famous person at the event in his home country: “Sydney, like Melbourne last week, is totally in ecstasy because of Tay Tay.” “Tay Tay” is one of Swift’s many nicknames.

After three spectacular shows in Melbourne, Swift took a break for a few days and also mingled with the crowd in Sydney. Most recently, she visited an Italian restaurant in the Surry Hills district with a friend without prior notice. Crowds of fans then gathered in front of the bar to catch a glimpse of the musician. The 34-year-old was also spotted at Sydney Zoo with her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

A total of four concerts are planned in Sydney until Monday. Although thunderstorms were forecast for Friday in the metropolis, the organizers assured fans that the concert would definitely take place.

The US artist has been touring since March 2023. In the summer she will also be coming to Germany for some – already sold out – dates. With her “Eras” tour, Swift attracts millions of fans worldwide and breaks records everywhere.
