The new Museum for Concrete Art in Ingolstadt is still a construction site. It’s hard to believe that the exhibition building, which has been under construction for several years under the old brick hall of the former Royal Bavarian Gun Foundry, will soon be finished. “The building is currently scheduled to be handed over to us in the summer of 2025,” says museum director Theres Rohde, appearing optimistic despite all the delays. It’s worth the wait, she says, and raves about the “really good architecture” and the large exhibition areas that she’ll be able to use in the future. “That comforts me.”
