US President Joe Biden has released more than 13,000 files on the assassination of John F. Kennedy, some of which were previously classified or blacked out. They are more likely to fuel than resolve doubts as to whether Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.

It’s early Christmas for history buffs and conspiracy theorists this year: 13,173 previously partially classified documents Assassination of US President John F. Kennedy US President Joe Biden had it published on Thursday. It was the last possible day: Biden’s self-imposed deadline a year ago expired on Thursday. At that time he had postponed the publication of the files: the security services needed more time to check the material because of the Covid pandemic.
