From now on, residents of the center of Anzing can apply for grants for facade design, shops and garden design. The municipality has now announced this, the background is a municipal support program for which the district government has now promised its support.
As early as summer 2021, the municipal council issued a “renovation statute” in order to provide long-term support for the preservation and development of the Anzinger townscape through suitable renovation and design measures. In addition to the facade program, the municipal council has added a “commercial space program” to the guideline. “It is very important to us that the tradespeople in the town center are supported,” said Mayor Kathrin Alte (CSU).
The scope of the program, for which 30,000 euros are currently available, essentially includes Högerstrasse, Erdinger Strasse, Hirnerstrasse and Amselweg. Citizens who live in the area of the town center can submit a corresponding application.
