Three teenagers are said to have scared a seven-year-old boy with a real-looking pistol in his hand on the street in the Berg am Laim district of Munich. A passer-by alerted the police about banging noises in the Jella-Lepman Street area on Tuesday around 5:45 p.m. According to police, before the officers arrived, he became aware of the child who told him that he had seen a gun. The young people told the boy that he didn’t need to be afraid, that nothing would happen to him. The man then handed the severely intimidated boy over to his father, who had since arrived.
The police were no longer able to locate the young people. However, the officers discovered two ammunition casings from a blank gun in a nearby park. It is currently being examined whether these are related to the threatening situation for the child. One of the young people aged 16 to 20 is said to have been noticeably tall at 1.90 meters.
