Young people apparently stole a car on Monday night and then crashed it on a jaunt.
Around midnight, the BMW was noticed by a police patrol when it raced through a red traffic light on Balanstraße without lights. In the car: three teenagers. When they piled up in front of a control, the driver put the car in a hedge on Hochäckerstrasse and the three fled. A little later, the police caught two suspects aged 14 and 15. There were signs of a break-in on the BMW, which is why the officials assume it was stolen.
