Munich winner of the young talent photo competition “Nature in Focus” – Munich

He waited two hours for the perfect moment, says nine-year-old Sasha Jumanca. When the great tit finally flies off, he manages to take a real snapshot. The young man from Munich is one of the 22 award-winning young nature photographers in the Bavaria-wide “Focus on Nature” competition. In the youngest age group he took second place. Children and young people submitted a total of 1,600 pictures.

Nine-year-old Hannah Franz from Munich is also one of the winners. She caught the “snails mating,” as she calls her motif, with her mother’s cell phone on the terrace – and took third place. An exhibition with the award-winning pictures can be seen in the Man and Nature Museum in Nymphenburg Palace until the end of May.

The picture “Dawn” by 14-year-old Joseph Seeberger wins in the next higher age group. The Munich resident raves: “The way the sun paints the world in the morning, everything looks so different, everything glitters with dewdrops.”
