But Fabrizio B. is said to have blackmailed and insulted another prostitute, and he already has a criminal record for assaulting another woman and was on probation. The 12th Criminal Chamber at the Munich I District Court is now to decide whether B. has to stay in a closed facility because of mental disorders – or is released on probation.
It is not the first time that Fabrizio B. has been tried in this matter. The chamber had already scheduled several days of hearings in March, but the process was suspended due to corona diseases and scheduling problems. Negotiations are now underway again and defense attorney David Mühlberger wants his client’s placement to be suspended on probation.
Fabrizio B. is a wine merchant by profession, and has already appeared as such on a television show, a corpulent man who knows how to express himself. And he begins with a confession: Yes, he has the prostitute Valerie S. (name changed) Met in mid-December 2020. The chemistry was “good”, we drank, coke and had sex together. When the woman went to Spain, he supported her financially. Valerie S. returned to Munich in June 2021, then they met again.
Despite Corona regulations, Valerie S. pursued illegal prostitution in a boarding house. Fabrizio B. came with two bottles of wine and 400 euros for three hours of “company”. In the argument, he then gave her a headbutt, he admits, maybe a few “little slaps,” and he grabbed her by the neck for a moment. The public prosecutor’s office, on the other hand, assumes that the choking was so massive that the woman “could not breathe properly for several minutes”.
Fabrizio B. was taken into custody and released three months later. Three weeks later he met another prostitute. He claims he put 1400 euros on the table for six hours, 200 euros too much. In the dispute over the money, he himself admits, he later called the woman several times and threatened to kill her. His wife, who has since separated from him, told the court that her husband had also threatened her with death. Their son had to kneel down in front of him and apologize. One day he freaked out so much that she called the police. Fabrizio B. himself says he suffers from bipolar disorder. A date for the verdict has not yet been set.
