A 33-year-old man’s appetite for white sausages got him into a lot of legal trouble. On Wednesday morning he picked up four white sausages in the Deutsche Bahn canteen at Munich Central Station and took a bite out of them. When a 66-year-old employee then asked him to pay, he insulted and threatened her. A colleague alerted the federal police, whereupon the man tried to escape. However, the emergency services were able to catch him.
He also insulted and threatened them and also refused to come to the office. When the officers tried to take him away by his arms, he resisted. At the station, the officers sat him on a bench, whereupon he attacked them from behind and tried to take the gun and baton away from a 30-year-old police officer, but he was unsuccessful. The aggressive homeless man was taken to the ground, handcuffed and taken to a cell, where he hit his head on the cell door and sustained a bleeding head wound.
He didn’t want to be helped by the emergency services that were called, so the laceration was treated in the hospital. The responsible public prosecutor ordered a blood sample and a presentation before a judge. The man is now being investigated for theft, insults, threats, attempted bodily harm, resistance and attacking police officers.
