Burglary on broad daylight Whit Monday: Unknown perpetrators violently entered a grocery store between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. There they opened several drawers and stole the cash they contained, a total of around 10,000 euros, according to the police.
Investigators can narrow down the time of the crime so precisely because the owner of the shop lives nearby and discovered the damage himself. Although the police have secured numerous leads, the perpetrators are still on the run.
Now the investigators are asking for help: Who made observations on Whit Monday at the specified time in the Paul-Heyse-Strasse, Schwanthalerstrasse, St.-Paul-Strasse, Pettenkoferstrasse and Landwehrstrasse areas that could be related to the crime? Witnesses are asked to report to Commissariat 52 of Munich Police Headquarters or to any other police station.
