Doris Hahlweg and Roland Helmer are the recipients of this year’s water lily prize from the city of Munich. The artist Hahlweg, who lives in Munich, paints abstractly, preferring to set her color fields in oil on aluminum. Roland Helmer is a representative of the concrete-constructive visual language, lives and works in the Munich area. The art prize is endowed with a total of 4000 euros and linked to an exhibition in the art pavilion. Until August 28th, Sophienstraße 7a, info under www.kunstpavillon.org.
