On Tuesday afternoon, passers-by discovered a deer near the Candidplatz in Auer Mühlbach and informed the fire brigade. The firefighters escorted the exhausted animal downstream until they could use a staff to pull it onto the bank and further ashore. Then they wrapped the deer in a blanket.
A fire brigade employee, who is also a hunter, examined the animal. Since it was unharmed, they transported it to the Perlacher Forest and released it there after a short recovery period.
