Plainclothes officers from the Munich police have arrested two suspected drug traffickers in recent days. The men were noticed during checks: a 29-year-old in a green area in Bogenhausen last Thursday and a 26-year-old on Friday when he sold a handful of joints to a 15-year-old in the Deisenhofen district of Oberhaching.
Hashish and marijuana were discovered during the arrests, and subsequent apartment searches turned up even larger quantities of drugs. In the 29-year-old’s room, the officers seized 380 grams of marijuana, 100 grams of hashish and several thousand euros in cash; in the 26-year-old’s case there were 350 grams of marijuana, various drug paraphernalia, a knife and brass knuckles. Both men are now in custody.
