Munich: Train must be cleared because of the nine-euro ticket – Munich

A regional train that was overcrowded because of the nine-euro ticket had to be cleared in Munich, with two passengers being arrested for the time being. A 44-year-old and a 40-year-old are said to have defied the officials at Munich Central Station several times, the federal police said.

Deutsche Bahn asked for help with the evacuation during the night from Saturday to Sunday. The police assume that the train was overcrowded because of the nine-euro ticket. According to the officials, the two passengers refused to leave their seats and are said to have behaved aggressively. They were taken off the train by officers. The 44-year-old kicked an officer in the shin and insulted her.

The man and woman were taken to the station. There she continued to insult the officers in Russian, which a Russian-speaking police officer wrote down. The woman filmed the officers with her mobile phone and claims to have uploaded the video to the Instagram platform. The police then took away her mobile phone in consultation with the public prosecutor’s office.

The blood test showed that the 40-year-old had a level of 1.3 per thousand. Both rioters were then released. The woman is being investigated for, among other things, resistance and physical assault against law enforcement officials and a violation of the Art and Copyright Act. According to police, no one was injured in the incident.
