The holiday is approaching, the identity card has expired – so an appointment in the citizens’ office of the district administration department (KVR) has to be made. But when you look at the online booking system, you can get a shock: no appointments available, neither at the headquarters on Ruppertstrasse, nor at one of the five branch offices in the city until October. How can that be?
