Munich: Three robberies in three hours – 17-year-old arrested – Munich

After a series of robberies, the police arrested two 17-year-olds. The two are said to be responsible, together with a third alleged perpetrator, for three robberies within just under three hours. According to the investigation, the trio initially threatened two men in Aying, south of Munich, with a pistol on Thursday around 10:30 p.m. A 24-year-old was said to have been hit in the thigh with a baton. According to the police, the suspects stole a mobile phone and cash. A passerby dialed the emergency number, the search was unsuccessful.

At around 1:40 a.m., the trio threatened two Munich residents aged 27 and 29 on a park bench in the Auenstrasse and Baaderstrasse area in the Glockenbachviertel, police reports. The loot was said to be an “electronic item”. Just ten minutes later, the three alleged perpetrators are said to have taken the mobile phone of a 49-year-old man from Augsburg on Fraunhoferstrasse.

At around 2:20 a.m., officers were able to arrest the two 17-year-old suspects nearby. They had some of the loot from all three raids with them. The investigating judge issued an arrest warrant. According to the police, witnesses described the third alleged perpetrator as about 24 years old with short, black hair and darker skin color, he wears glasses. He was wearing a white jacket and a black fanny pack and is said to have carried a small black pistol.
