An unknown thief wanted to use the discovery of a vehicle registration including address and apartment key in an unlocked parked car in the English Garden to break into the apartment of the car owner. According to the police, he used the key to gain access to the apartment in the Trudering district on Tuesday evening.
In the house, however, he met a family member of the victim and then fled – presumably with a second perpetrator and without the loot. An immediate search was unsuccessful. He is described as 40 years old, 1.80 meters tall with a beard and a gray beret. The police advises to always manually check the vehicle to see if it is locked.
