A 20-year-old from Upper Palatinate was arrested after an argument with his girlfriend of the same age: the police officers called to mediate discovered obvious stolen property on him. The officials were called on Saturday at 2 a.m. by an employee of a hotel in Moosach because a slightly drunk couple was arguing loudly in a room.
When officers spoke to the two, they noticed a plastic bag containing watches, necklaces, rings, coins, cell phones and cash. The suspicion arose that it was loot from burglaries. The 20-year-old was then arrested. Because, unlike his Munich girlfriend, he does not have a permanent address, an investigating judge should decide on the issue of detention on Sunday.
