The punk musical “Platzverweis” is about young people who are looking for uncommercial freedom in a gentrified city. For Jonas Koerfer and his collective, the boundaries between play and reality are blurred.
A place that offers space to implement creative ideas without knowing whether they will work. To recognize artistic and musical potential or to socialize with others as a young person simply and without pressure to consume. Jonas Koerfer, 22, doesn’t have any great expectations when he thinks of this place: a run-down factory building, for example, a small area on the outskirts of the city or an unused apartment block. Not so utopian, he thinks. But in Munich? He doesn’t find anything like that.
