They are the dream couple of the Gärtnerplatztheater: Jennifer O’Loughlin and Lucian Krasznec. Unfortunately, the two did not sing together at the end of the Gärtnerplatz festival concert. But O’Loughlin shone with the great aria “O luce di quest’anima”, in which Linda di Chamounix sings about her secret love in Donizetti’s opera of the same name. And in “Nessun dorma” from “Turandot” Krasznec was able to show that he can always hold a candle to the countless tenors who have already sung it brilliantly with brilliant phrasing and a top note of the same kind at the end.
