Munich: The family concert “An Angel Falls from the Clouds” in the Gasteig – Munich

Ouch – the angel Sosoel injured his wing. While romping around in the sea of clouds, he slipped and flew down to the ground, where he landed, stunned, on the tree in the middle of the Christmas market on Marienplatz. “Five years ago our little angel fell from heaven for the last time, now it’s time to play the story of Sosoel to the next generation of children,” says Anastasia Reiber, who, together with classical music presenter Uta Sailer, founded the association “Mini Music – Great Music for little people”. She will be sitting at the piano again when “An Angel Falls from All the Clouds” closes the classical music organizer’s concert year with gentle flute and harp sounds on the second Sunday in Advent in the Gasteig HP8.

Sailer and her musical colleagues tell preschool children the adventure of the little sky-dweller that she came up with with her husband Martin. “Sosoel is having an unusual experience,” says Reiber. “Normally the angels are the protectors who help others. But now he is dependent on the help of others.” Young concert guests will find out who locates Sosoel in his hiding place, treats his grand piano and brings him back home via the ladder to heaven while listening to atmospheric music from the Baroque, classical and romantic eras.
