Can you sit on an e-scooter with a beer keg and drive through Thalkirchen? The Munich police are concerned with this question after a 28-year-old was drunk in a police check.
Whether it was full or already tapped is not known. In any case, a 28-year-old from Munich drove an e-scooter through Thalkirchen on Wednesday afternoon, sitting on a beer barrel. A police patrol stopped the young man, and indeed: he was not only transporting beer, he also smelled accordingly.
A test later revealed a concentration of just over one per thousand alcohol in the blood. The same limit values apply to e-scooters as to driving a car. The production manager was therefore reported for drunk driving. The police are still investigating whether sitting on a beer keg also constitutes an administrative offence.
