Munich: “Summer Mix” reading in the House of Literature – Munich

What does it mean to be poor? Grit Krüger describes it in “The Tunnel” based on the life of a mother and her daughter as realistically hard as it is poetic. The author from Ettlingen, the scholarship holder of the Bavarian Academy of Writing and who presented her debut novel at the Wortspiele Festival in March, is now once again a guest at the Literaturhaus’ “Sommermix” in Munich.

Next to her on stage will be the Leipzig author Cecilia Joyce Röski, whose novel “Poussi” illuminates the red light district, and the Augsburg comic artist Lisa Frühbeis. Their second graphic novel after their award-winning debut “Busengewunder” is called “DerZeit” and revolves around the topic of motherhood.

“Summer Mix” with Cecilia Joyce Röski, Grit Krüger and Lisa Frühbeis, Thursday, June 22, 8 p.m., Literaturhaus, Salvatorplatz 1, literaturhaus-muenchen.de
