Kunstlabor 2 has been on Dachauer Straße for almost two years. And with the street art shown there, conceptual art and last but not least the chilled Amari Bar, the vom Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art operated interim use has made a name for itself among young people in particular.
Anyone who hasn’t been there yet will have a good opportunity on Saturday, July 8th. Because then the “KL2 Summer Festival” will take place there. There is a “Cans&Co Block Party” in the inner courtyard with live painting and graffiti battles as well as hip-hop and post-punk C’est la nuit and Germany GmbH. The rappers Kokonelle and John Dash perform in the “Outdoor Area”, there is a children’s creative workshop and a “Super Art Market”. If you want, you can also see the exhibition “Ay Que Rico” in the pop-up gallery, which runs until July 9th, with works by artists from Latin America.
