Several people were injured in a stabbing on Munich’s luxury mile Maximilianstrasse. Ten men clashed on Thursday evening, two were taken to the hospital with stab wounds, a police spokeswoman said. One broke his finger, seven others were slightly injured. A suspect was arrested shortly after the crime.
The cause of the altercation has yet to be determined, police said. Maximilianstraße is Munich’s promenade and is located in the heart of the city centre. The opera, theater and noble hotels and shops are on it.
