Some of the oddities of online dating only become visible from a bird’s eye view. In Helena Baumeister’s new graphic novel “Oh Cupid”, this post is occupied by two curious blackbirds, who eagerly comment on the first meeting between the protagonist Helena and her online acquaintance from above. The author reveals whether there will be a second date on Thursday evening in the “Frühlingsmix” of the Literaturhaus.
The SZ editor Bernhard Blöchl is also returning to the series of events to present his new coming-of-age novel “A Divine Youth”. The third author of the evening is Martina Clavadetscher, who in her book “Before All Eyes” gives a voice to the women portrayed in famous paintings. The readings are embedded in a supporting program with music and drinks.
