Munich: Sleeping passenger on the ICE stolen – he hunts the thief – Munich

A 38-year-old is said to have stolen a backpack on an ICE train from Berlin to Munich on Sunday afternoon. According to federal police, a 27-year-old passenger was sleeping on the moving train. When he woke up, the man noticed that his backpack was gone. Together with a train attendant, he then looked for his luggage and found it on the suspected perpetrator.

The man reluctantly gave the backpack back. He also insulted and threatened the train attendant when he asked him about his behavior. When the ICE stopped at Pasing train station, the federal police were already waiting for the suspected perpetrator. He is now being investigated for theft, insults and threats.
