Everything is currently a top priority at the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, whether it’s a subscription concert or a concert opera – most recently Mozart’s “Idomeneo” – and now there’s also the in-house orchestra academy. Sir Simon Rattle has taken his job seriously since taking up the leadership role at the BRSO. And since he has a big heart for young talent, it is only logical that he conducts an ensemble in the Hercules Hall that consists of current and former scholarship holders as well as some BRSO members.
